Back on Earth (Here From Another Universe)

Holy crap. The last time I posted anything here was May of 2007....Well, no surprise, really. My life prettymuch fell apart in June. To be blatantly honest, it's sort of a secular miracle that yours truly, Guild Navigator Pegritz, is still alive. If it weren't for massive amounts of pharmaceuticals and hours upon hours of therapy (not to mention a substantial amount of highly-refined spice gas), I would've vented my pressure chamber by August.

But I didn't, and I have nothing more to say about it.

At any rate, one of the things that kept me going through that subterranean passage was, of course, music. If I didn't have piles and piles of new jams to listen to everyday--with more coming down the pipe to me every hour on the hour--I would've died bored...and that's no way to go. So instead of moping like some sort of sadsack scrotum (i.e., an emo kid), I opened my ears and let structured sound fill me up and rebuild my own mental and physical structure.

So I've got tons of new music to talk about. And I'll be talking about it right here! However, all posts made to this specific journal will be mirrored on my "one-stop-shop" blog, PEGRITZ(.com)! Or, rather, all musical posts made to my primary blog will be mirrored here. There's a simple reason for doing this: I want to maximize the number of ways that my friends have at their disposal to stay abreast of my writing. I have a number of friends on Vox who are here mainly to read various music blogs, so mirroring my music-related content here makes a lot of sense. Plus, Vox also showcases numerous features uniquely suited to media-blogging.
